Travelers on-load up an IndiGo mentor at the IGI air terminal here maintained minor wounds after a window broken because of a stream impact purportedly from a SpiceJet plane moving toward a stopping inlet.
An IndiGo representative said the correct front window of its transport was parted from the effect of the impact. Five travelers who got minor wounds were taken to the airplane terminal facility.
The issue is being examined by flight guard dog Directorate General of Common Flying (DGCA).
"IndiGo Mentor number 34 was stopped Under control 17 today at 16:50 hours for loading up of travelers on flight 6E-191 enroute Delhi-Mumbai. In the meantime, an arriving flying machine of Spicejet SG-253 took a to stop at the assigned cove. The stream impact from the air ship broke the correct front window glass of the mentor," IndiGo said in an announcement.
A reaction from SpiceJet is anticipated.
